Front Office Operation - Class One

Front office operation is the last module of this semester.  Other three module Introduction to Hospitality Industry, Fundamentals of Hospitality Industry and Housekeeping Operations done months ago. Even exams and assignment were submitted on the very last of due. :/ (that's how Maldivians)

Basically its was first class and it was about the introduction of the industry and basic of Front office operation.We have 3 assessment in this module like other three. Final exam carrying 40% and assignment and practical exam carrying 30% each. 



Well lets see the out comes of first class of Front Office. 

Hotel is priding lodging facilities (i.e Room) for the general public. Here general public means to anyone or everyone without any discrimination. Hotels provide below services to their customers. 
- Food & Beverages Services
- Room attendant services
- Uniformed services (Bell attendants, Door attendants, Valet parking attendants, Concierges. These people are fully suit ups) You can see type of people at Jen Hotel.
- Laundering services
- and other more

  1. Hospitality
  2. Institutional
  3. Travel
  4. Armed Force 
  5. Leisure 
That was the five hours time went including 45 minutes break. overall class went really interesting.
